Globe Tattoos unlimited surf isn’t so unlimited, due to a 800mb per day fair usage policy. This includes both your upload and download. So for example, if you download a 700mb movie and upload 100mb of photos to Multiply, you’ll have hit the daily limit and be unable to browse any further. So much for unlimited!

Thankfully there are Globe Tattoo hacks and tricks that allow you to continue browsing beyond this limit and after receiving the text message from them telling you that you’ll be unable to continue surfing until your subscription expires. There are a few different options, depending on your technical skills. The best techniques do unfortunately require a little bit more technical skills.

The most effective way to truly surf unlimited on Globe is via a PING or DNS tunnel. These two protocols are not added to your daily allowance and will continue to work even if you pass the bandwidth fair usage limit. To use these, you’ll need to be quite technically minded and have access to a dedicated server or VPS.

Alternatively, you can surf via a modified version of opera mini, using magic IPs (open proxies on Globes internal network). You can download now via Google and then surf for free. Be cautious about passing sensitive details through this, you never know who’s operating the proxy and what details they might be logging (like your passwords!).

With openDNS blocks being so easy to enable and enforce, more businesses, schools and public spaces are using them to limit what users of their network can access. Many businesses block Facebook and other social networking sites – with the complaint that their staff waste too much time chatting and commenting on pictures than working.

Many schools block access to adult sites to ensure their younger students don’t accidentally (or purposely) content that is meant for a more mature audience.

Bypassing or circumventing openDNS blocks is relatively straight forward, especially if you have complete control over your computer. You need to update your network settings so that your DNS requests are sent to an alternative DNS server, for example Google Public DNS or any other public server.

If you have limited control over your computer but still want to get around the opendns block, you could consider using a VPN or a regular free web proxy.
